JICREG AWARDS 2006

JICREG is continuing its successful annual awards for regional newspaper publishers, sales house, advertising agencies and media independents with an aim for its data to be used more effectively and creatively.

Entrants must submit presentations, based on JICREG data, made to advertisers or agencies between September 2005 and July 2006 to gain new business, retain existing business or for other targeted purposes.

The brief is to explain the objective, show the presentation and describe the result.  Judges look for creative use of JICREG and other (perhaps mapping) data.

Cash prizes of £3,000, £1,500, and £750 are awarded to the top three presentations from regional press sales people, while a separate single cash prize of £3,000 is given for the best submission from an advertising agency or media independent.  The final date for the receipt of entries is 28 July 2006, and the winners will be announced in the autumn.
